📋 PI Planning Board

Add Epic — large work items that span multiple features. Purple header.

Add Feature — deliverable chunks of value within an Epic. Blue header.

Edit a card — double-click it to update title, type, WSJF, or story points.

Delete a card — click the ✕ in the card's top-right corner.

Add a label — click T Label (or press L) to place a free-floating text annotation. Choose bold/italic, four sizes (S M L XL), and eight colors. Double-click to edit.

Drag cards — click and drag any card to reposition it freely.

Select multiple — drag on empty canvas to rubber-band select, or Shift+click to add individual cards. Drag any selected card to move them all.

Select all — Ctrl+A (or ⌘+A on Mac) selects every card on the board.

Zoom — scroll the mouse wheel anywhere on the canvas, or use the +/− buttons in the toolbar.

Pan the canvas — right-click drag, middle-mouse drag, or hold Space and drag.

Arrow keys — nudge the canvas left, right, up, or down in small steps.

Reset view — click the home button (⌂) to return to 100% zoom at the origin.

Import Excel / CSV — click the Import button, drop your file, then map your columns (Title, Type, WSJF, Story Points). Works with ADO exports.

ADO export tip — in Azure DevOps, run a query for Epics & Features, then use Export to Excel. Make sure Work Item Type, Title, and any priority/effort fields are included.

Export CSV — saves all cards with their current positions so you can share or re-import later.

WSJF Score — Weighted Shortest Job First. Higher = higher priority. Used to sequence work across the PI.

Story Points (SP) — effort estimate for the work item. Helps teams gauge capacity.

ADO Link — URL to the work item in Azure DevOps. Shows as a clickable "Open in ADO" link on the card. Auto-detected from columns named URL, Link, or HTML URL on import.
